Responsibilities:

• Conduct a high volume of outbound contacts (70/day)

• Generate new outbound leads and follow up with leads in pipeline

• Research accounts, identify key targets and generate interest through outreach (email campaigns, LinkedIn, discovery calls, etc.)

• Work to meet defined metric goals

• Provide support to your accounts when needed

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years of applicable experience

• 2+ years of direct experience working in high-tech startup

Other Requirements:

• CPA/MBA/MCOM, Accounting or Finance concentration preferred

• Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP required in the areas of SAAS accounting, revenue recognition, consolidations, and convertible debt

• Ability to interpret and apply PCC pronouncements and guidelines

• Experience completing and/or preparing records for due diligence and/or external audits

Responsibilities:

• Fast learner and ability to pick accounting concepts and pronouncements

• Ensure investor reporting requirements and debt covenants are reporting accurately and timely

• Prepare partner/affiliate, sales, and vendor contracts for proper application of accounting pronouncements

• Manage multiple clients at varying stages (pre-revenue, post-revenue)

Education Requirements:

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience in an accounting, accounting outsource provider or CPA firm

• Strong experience managing teams of 5+ accounting professionals

Other Requirements:

• Managing a diverse customer portfolio outside of SaaS-based, e-commerce, inventory and other tech start-ups

• Strong knowledge and application of GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, consolidations, and equity compensation and other areas of accounting for SaaS companies

• Experience in coaching management at various stages of development

• Strong oral and written communication skills and comfortable working with teams in client-facing role

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with founders and executives to understand their business and financial model

• Manage a portfolio of customers who operate outside of SaaS and tech, taking ownership of customer revenue growth and profitability

• Manage a team of two remote resources, driving the team to own daily and monthly close processes, reconciliations and classifications

• Utilize Zeni’s platform and technology to drive automation of customer processes and integration of financial applications
