Carv is an AI-powered ski coaching system that uses sensors placed on ski boots to analyze a skier's technique and provide real-time feedback through an app. The system uses AI to analyze movements, identify areas for improvement, and offer personalized tips. The coaching can be customized to focus on different aspects of skiing and provide varying levels of feedback. Carv is designed for skiers of all levels, from beginners to experts, and aims to help users improve their technique and have more fun on the slopes. The device is sold with a Carv Pass, and also has optional paid express shipping.

What are the estimated shipping times?
All Carv orders can be tracked to ensure safe delivery and tracking information is shared via email at the point of shipment. Our delivery times for standard delivery are as follows - estimates based on orders placed before 11am at the warehouse’s local time: USA - Courier: USPS - Delivery: 3-5 business days Canada - Courier: Purolator - Delivery: 3-6 business days UK - Courier: Royal Mail - Delivery: 2-4 business days Europe - Courier: DPD - Delivery: 3-5 business days All other countries - Courier: DHL Express - Delivery: 6-8 business days Iran/Russia/Belarus: Due to carrier restrictions we can no longer ship to these countries We also offer **paid** express shipping in the US, UK, and the EU. This is a 2 business day service across all regions, with an additional next-day option available for orders within the US. Couriers are subject to change, depending on availability.
Can I use Carv off-piste?
Yes - Carv goes wherever you go! Last season, we introduced terrain detection. So, Carv can automatically detect the difficulty and snow type that you're skiing on - taking into account steepness and terrain variability (bumps, variable, powder). Carv will adapt your score based on the terrain so you're always rewarded for keeping your form when things get dicey. This year, we’ve been working hard on improving our coaching to suit the snow. So, whether you’re in powder or bumps, we’ll be able to provide terrain specific coaching that’s relevant to you!
How can I customise my coaching?
This year we’ve simplified the Carv experience, just hit the ‘Start’ button in the Ski tab and you’re ready to go! Carv coaching comes in the form of instructive content in the app, both visual and written explanations, and real-time coaching with tips. You can personalise your Audio Coaching experience based on what feedback you’d like to receive. Ski:IQ Only - You’ll get your Ski:IQ read out to you when you stop skiing. Ski:IQ & Tips - Our default mode. Hear your Ski:IQ when you stop skiing, and feedback on the runs. We’ll automatically assign you a focus area based on your skiing so far, but you can change this if you’d like to switch your skiing focus to something else. Active Coach - You’ll get real time feedback, Ski:IQ and achievements with a target that adapts to your skiing every 10 turns. Monitor - Hear your score for every turn in real-time for your chosen metric. Custom - Want to hear something different? If you’d like to personalise your coaching further, you can use our custom settings. Skiing with friends or family? You can turn off Audio Feedback altogether and check out your data on the lift, at the end of the day, or whenever suits you.
How do I return my Carv device?
We're sorry if Carv has not worked out for you for any reason. We offer hassle-free returns within 100 days of delivery of your Carv unit. Once we have received your return, we will process your refund including any Carv Pass fees that were paid upfront. Should you wish to request a return, you are able to do so using this link. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. We request that your Carv is returned in the original packaging if possible. Once your return is received we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. It may take up to 14 days to receive the confirmation email and to see the funds in your account.
When will my Pass activate?
When you download the Carv app for the first time, you will be asked to create an account and enter a Pass Code to add your pass to your Carv account. Please note, if you purchased during Pre-sale, your Pass Code will be sent to your purchase email on the 5th of November, when we launch the newest version of our app. Once your Pass is added to your Carv account, it will then activate when you first ski with Carv. If you don’t ski with Carv after purchasing the pass, it will activate automatically on April 30th 2025. Your Pass will automatically renew one year from activation. If you have a 2-Year Pass, it will automatically renew two years from activation.
