BuildShip is a low-code/no-code platform that uses AI to help users build scalable backend systems. It features a visual builder, pre-built nodes, AI-powered code generation, integrations with various AI models and tools (OpenAI, Stable Diffusion, HuggingFace), a built-in database (or the option to use your own), and various other features such as cloud storage, secret management, scheduled jobs, and access to NPM packages. How does BuildShip’s pricing work?
BuildShip's pricing is usage-based. You purchase credits, and each node execution consumes credits based on runtime. There are also monthly allowances depending on your plan.
What is a workspace?
A workspace is your dedicated environment within BuildShip where you create and manage your workflows, data, and team members.
How does credits work?
Credits are units of computation. They are consumed when running nodes (excluding some core nodes like Switch or Branch). You can top up credits as needed.
What happens if I run out of credits?
If you run out of credits, your workflows will pause until you purchase more. You can top-up credits at any time.
What is a AI generated node?
An AI generated node is a pre-built component that uses AI to perform a specific function within your workflows. You can also create your own using AI.
What are the different support channels for free and paid users?
Free users have access to the Discord community and an in-app support form. Paid users also get priority support.
What is a cold start?
A cold start is a delay in node execution due to initial initialization. The "No Cold Start" add-on eliminates this delay.
