Where is Ellie’s office located?
Our new office is located in Lauttasaari, Helsinki, near the metro station. You can easily get there by metro, bus, bicycle or electric scooter from the center of Helsinki.
In what startup phase is Ellie?
We just secured €2.5M in seed funding. We have made significant growth since launching in 2019 and have over 50 enterprise customers across the world. With this funding, we’re developing new workflows for our customers – and welcoming new colleagues! Our target is to be a team of 30 people by the end of 2024.
Do people at Ellie work remotely?
We work at the office a couple of days per week, and remotely the rest of the week. Many of us like to start the week at the office, and stay at home more towards the weekend. Our company culture emphasizes tight-knit team collaboration and many of us prefer face-to-face meetings at the office. And, of course, to play ping pong.
What language skills are required at Ellie? Do you need to speak Finnish?
No Finnish skills needed – English is a must. We have a multicultural team with people from around the world. In a multicultural environment, and with a global customer base, great communication in English is required.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Experience Requirements:
5+ years of experience in sales development or related roles, preferably within the enterprise data management or SaaS industry
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas
Other Requirements:
Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM tools
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in team building and mentoring junior team members
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales development strategy to generate leads and grow the company's pipeline
Research, identify, and qualify prospective clients within the enterprise data management space
Engage with prospects through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media, to establish rapport and set up meetings
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted sales campaigns and refine messaging
Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for optimizing the sales development process
