Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Embedded

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
Experience Requirements:
5 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in testing connectivity software (both on device firmware and cloud infrastructure) and network protocols
Other Requirements:
Experience in CI/CT (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/..), release, and change management tools i.e. GIT or similar GitLab.
Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP, HTTP, UDP) and networking equipment.
Good understanding (on-hands & theoretical) on connectivity technologies – WiFi (knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards is a must), L2-L7 network layers,
Hands on knowledge on network tools such as – Packet generators (Ex: iPerf), Packet Sniffers, AP/ Client simulators, RF Chambers, Interference Generators
Knowledge of programming languages C and Linux Shell Scripting required.
Good understanding of Linux Environment is required.
Optional: CCIE Enterprise Wireless Certification

Develop quality standards and test procedures
Execute & monitor test cases to identify defects and ensure products meet specified requirements.
Documentation related to testing processes, strategies, and results
