Experience Requirements:

• Client Interaction: At least 2 years of experience working directly with clients in a technical sales role, explaining complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Technical Skills: * 2+ years of experience in software development, technical consulting, or similar roles. * Strong programming skills, particularly in building web applications and APIs. * Experience with testing, debugging, and integrating software systems. * Comfortable managing Linux systems and writing shell scripts. * Experience with microservices architecture. * Experience in managing projects from start to finish, including working with data.

• Ideally, you also have * Knowledge of search technologies like Elasticsearch. * Knowledge of and experience with Generative AI products and LLMs. * Experience working with unstructured data. * Familiarity with natural language processing or machine learning

Responsibilities:

• Work with partners and customers on an operational level throughout the stages of solution qualification, implementation, and support

• Implement innovative digital transformation projects, primarily in the Finance & Public Sectors

• Collaborate with Business and Engineering team members on customer use cases to deliver the solution design with the aim of meeting or exceeding the business expectations

• Provide technical expertise and run tests on the requirements and suitability of Squirro’s modules and features with regards to the solution scopes from customers and partners

• Engage with technical users of all levels from Squirro’s ecosystem of partners and customers to provide technical guidance on the development, implementation and support of solution using Squirro’s modules

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in technical consulting, software engineering, and/or DevOps engineering roles

• Minimum 3 years in a client-facing role as a point-of-contact for technical and non-technical users

• Experience in implementing a full project lifecycle based on Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Project management would be an advantage

• Experienced in working with Elasticsearch in production deployments. This involves things like relevancy-tuning Elasticsearch, efficient data modelling, optimizing search and indexing performance

• Experience in writing server-side web application logic and implementing REST APIs

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years of programming experience in Python, with a proven track record of developing high-quality, maintainable software

• Solid understanding of RESTful services and extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems

• Experience with testing frameworks and test-driven development methodologies

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize core components of the Squirro platform for scalability and performance

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define and implement new features that delight users

• Leverage machine learning algorithms to process data smarter and faster

• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
