Experience Requirements:
Significant experience as a CSM or AM working with the government.
Willingness to travel (frequently onsite with customers, primarily on the East Coast).
Experience with a highly-technical product in the past (e.g., Legion's Generative AI product).
Exceptional communication skills (representing Legion to customers and customers to Legion).
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (sales, product, engineering).

Responsibilities:
Advocate For Customers: Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for customer needs and requirements to the product team.
Manage Customer Requirements: Serve as project manager for any new feature development for the user as well as for deploying the Legion platform for a given customer.
Be a Legion Expert: Develop hands-on technical knowledge of Legion’s product and feature capabilities so that you can ensure our customers are using Legion in the way that’s best for their team.
Lead Customer Onboarding: Train customers on how to use the platform, including training administrative users and champions on how to enable their team members’ success.
Demonstrate Value: Work with customers to understand what really matters to them and their leadership and demonstrate the way that Legion meets that need qualitatively and quantitatively.

Sr. Account Executive - Defense & Federal

Experience Requirements:
7+ years of software sales experience within the federal government or national security sector, with a strong track record of driving adoption of emerging technologies and exceeding revenue targets. Prior military or civilian government service may be considered in lieu of sales experience.
Deep understanding of DOW missions, operational challenges, and technology needs.
Demonstrated experience navigating complex DOW acquisition and procurement processes.
Proficiency in territory planning, forecasting, and CRM management (Salesforce preferred).
Proven ability to price, quote, negotiate, and close complex transactions.

Active Secret security clearance required.
U.S. citizenship required.
Willingness to travel 25–50%
Responsibilities:
Lead the full sales cycle within the DOW, driving new business and revenue growth.
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with mission priorities, operational needs, funding cycles, and contracting mechanisms.
Translate Legion’s technologies into clear, compelling value propositions tailored to DOW requirements.
Secure Legion’s participation in DOW experiments, exercises, and pilot programs.
Partner with defense prime contractors to pursue and capture larger DOW opportunities.

10+ years of business development or sales experience within the federal government or national security community. Prior military or civilian government service may be considered in lieu of business development experience.
Deep understanding of federal missions, structures, and acquisition processes, with emphasis on the DOW.
High level of ownership and initiative; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Proven ability to identify, establish, and maintain relationships with senior government officials and program stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and customers.

Grow Legion’s federal opportunity pipeline through proactive identification and qualification of new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships, market intelligence, and industry partnerships.
Develop and execute a cohesive, data-driven strategy to shape, capture, and close strategic growth opportunities — enabling Legion to land, expand, and deliver best-in-class capabilities to the U.S. Government.
Establish and strengthen executive-level relationships across Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Major Defense Acquisition Programs (MDAPs), prime contractors, and other key stakeholder organizations.
Build and maintain customer relationships while continuously assessing competitor capabilities and market trends.
Gather and synthesize customer challenges and requirements, translating them into actionable insights for Legion’s engineering and product teams.
