Binary Vulnerability Analysis is an AI-powered tool designed to scan binary files for vulnerabilities. The user uploads a binary file, and the tool decompiles it to check for vulnerabilities against over 20,000 historical vulnerabilities. The process involves several steps including decompiling using Ghidra, cleaning and formatting the code, and generating function-wise embeddings using a specialized CodeT5+ embedding model that has been finetuned on datasets such as Big Clone Bench and CodeSearchNet. The analysis checks for similarities against the DiverseVul dataset and utilizes SemGrep to identify vulnerabilities.
