How many course modules and elements can I add?
You are not limited in adding course elements. However, for quality reasons we have introduced a limit of 500 course modules and elements per course. It is best to divide your topics into many small courses – hence you are not limited.
Can I also offer free online courses?
Absolutely! If you have subscribed to teachr one, you can determine if your course can be taken without registration or if it is only available to a specified group of participants. When participants register in the course, they are added to your internal participants.
What is the difference between internal and external participants?
You can invite participants with invitation links free of charge. These count as internal participants in your virtual campus. External participants buy your online course. This means you can sell your course an infinite number of times without worrying about the number of participants.
Can I also use teachr as a Learning Management System (LMS)?
Absolutely! teachr is designed as a hybrid Massive Open Online Course System (MOOC) and Learning Management System (LMS). You can decide whether you want to hide your online courses from the public and offer private invitation links for your students or sell commercial online courses to external participants.
Do you offer discounts for non-profit companies?
Absolutely! We welcome creators who are driven by purpose. Non-profit organizations, charitable associations, preschools, kindergartens and daycare centers, Voluntary organizations as well as non-profit schools can use teachr even commercially free of charge for a lifetime. You need proof of your non-profit status (for example a copy of a currently valid IRS 501(c)(3) tax exemption certificate).
