Do I need to pay for a full book/document?
No, you are paying only for the audio that you are listening to. We split your book/document into small 4-minute chunks.
Which languages are supported?
Supports Afrikaans, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and many others. Automatically detects language during upload.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, you can open the app in your mobile browser and add it to your home screen.
Can I listen to emails?
Yes, you can forward emails to your personal Listenly inbox.
Isn't it illegal?
No, your uploaded books/documents are only accessible to you. We only select public domain content for the Public Library.
Will there be more voices?
