Emu Video is a cutting-edge text-to-video generation tool developed by Meta that utilizes diffusion models to create videos based on text prompts. The generation process involves two main steps: first, generating an image that is conditioned on a provided text prompt, and second, creating a video that is conditioned on both the text prompt and the previously generated image. This factorized approach allows for efficient training of high-quality video generation models, generating 512px resolution videos that are 4 seconds long at a rate of 16 frames per second. Emu Video has demonstrated superior performance compared to other existing text-to-video generation models, excelling in both quality and faithfulness metrics.
