About
The Center for Deep Learning in Electronics Manufacturing (CDLe) was a five-year collaboration of industry leaders aiming to enhance the implementation of deep learning in electronics manufacturing. With challenges in achieving production-quality outcomes, CDLe works to bridge the significant data gap through the use of digital twin technology. By creating virtual representations of processes and devices, they generate necessary training data, particularly for anomalous conditions that are rare in real production. The center has successfully completed over 30 deep learning projects and continues to advocate for deep learning's crucial role in this industry.
