Autonomous Racing Graz (ARG) is a team of researchers from the Graz University of Technology and Virtual Vehicle Research. They are deeply involved in automotive sensors, software, and control, with a clear mission to advance autonomous racing. Their goal is to push autonomous driving technology to its absolute limits, encompassing high speeds, extreme shear forces, and diverse weather conditions, thereby aiming to increase public trust and acceptance of this innovative technology. ARG focuses on developing vehicles capable of matching or surpassing human driving skills. They actively participate in major events such as the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) SIM Race and Roborace, a series designed to accelerate autonomous software development by challenging the technology in controlled environments.
