About
Abound is a 3D scanning app and web platform that allows users to create, edit, and share 3D scans from their phones or on the web. It uses LiDAR and photogrammetry to build scale-accurate models of spaces and objects. Users can edit scans, organize them into folders, and view them on the web, in VR (Meta Quest), and in AR (via iMessage). Scans can be exported in various formats (OBJ, FBX, GLTF, USDZ, STL, DAE, LAZ, PLY, XYZ) for use in other software (Blender, Unity, AutoCAD, Maya). The app also allows for the creation of looping 360° product videos. Pricing includes a free plan with limitations and a paid Pro plan offering increased features.

FAQs
Can I use Abound for free?
Absolutely! Abound is free to use indefinitely. The Free Plan is completely free for individual use. The Pro Plan has a free trial, so you can try out Abound before upgrading.
Does Abound have a trial period?
Yes. Unlock all of the Pro features in-app for 7 days for free, including taking 150 Photo Scans and unlimited export.
How do I cancel my paid plan?
Your Abound subscription, annual or monthly, will automatically renew until you cancel it. You can cancel your subscription by opening Settings in the Abound app and tapping the first row, or following these instructions.
Do you have monthly and yearly billing options?
Yes! We offer both monthly and yearly billing options. The yearly billing option is always cheaper (a 40% discount.) For example, the Pro Plan is $6.99 per month when you choose the monthly option, but $4.17 per month if you choose to pay yearly.
What happens when I reach my Photo Scan limit on my Pro plan?
If you need to process more than 150 Photo Scans per month, then email us and we'll help you out.
Do you support educational institutions?
Yes! Schools and organizations can deploy the Abound Pro app using Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager without requiring in-app subscription. Please contact us to learn more.
