How does the Interview Copilot work?
The Copilot connects to your meetings tab and listens to your conversation. It then provides you with real-time suggestions to help you ace your interview.
Is my data secure with Interviews Chat?
Absolutely. We use end-to-end encryption and make every effort to minimize the amount of data we collect. We do not record any audio or video; audio is processed in real-time by a speech-to-text service and then immediately discarded. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes, you can cancel anytime through Manage Subscription on the Account page in the app, and you'll retain full access until the end of your billing period.
Is my meeting app supported?
Interview Copilot works with any meeting platform accessible via a browser, including Google Meet, Zoom, and Teams. Check if your meeting app has a browser-based version—if it does, Copilot will integrate seamlessly.
Can I use Interviews Chat on my mobile device?
Yes, our platform is mobile-friendly, with the exception of Copilot for Video Meetings, which requires a desktop browser.
Are AI suggestions always accurate?
We use Large Language Models developed by leading AI research companies such as OpenAI. Similar to ChatGPT, the AI may not always provide the best feedback. It's natural for these models to occasionally make mistakes, even as they improve daily. Always use your own judgment to assess the accuracy of the feedback. Interview Copilot is designed to help you stay on track during your interview, but it is not a substitute for your own knowledge and experience.
Can the interviewer detect if I'm using Copilot during the interview?
No, unless you share the screen where the Copilot is running. If screen sharing is required, consider using Copilot for Phone Calls on a separate device instead. Avoid reading AI suggestions verbatim, as this can sound unnatural. Instead, use the suggestions as inspiration to guide your responses naturally. Keep your eyes on the camera as much as possible to avoid giving the impression that you're reading.
Does Interviews Chat support languages other than English?
Yes, our platform is multilingual. Ensure the app's selected language matches your interview language for live transcription to work. The app's language also determines the language used for all AI responses.
Will the interviewer see Interview Copilot as another participant during the meeting?
No, our Copilot does not join the meeting or notify participants in any way. Instead, it discreetly monitors the browser tab where the meeting is being held.
Why should I use Interview Copilot if I know my stuff?
Interviewers often ask questions designed to throw you off, diving into areas you haven't revisited in months, or even years, because they’re not part of your everyday tasks. Even the most prepared candidates can struggle to recall key details in these moments. To make things trickier, many employers expect STAR responses for behavioral questions, which often feels unnatural compared to how we typically communicate. Copilot is built to help you navigate these hurdles with real-time suggestions, keeping you sharp, focused, and ready to leave a lasting impression.
