What security measures are available to prevent data breaches?
Athena® uses AWS data protection services to provide encryption, key management, and threat detection that continuously monitors and protects your accounts and workloads. Athena® uses HTTPS over SSL between the browser and the web server for secure communication, better data integrity, better privacy and security, faster performance, etc.
How does Athena® secure personal data?
All personal data is protected by AWS data protection services.
How do you ensure that a valid user is logged into the application?
All users are authenticated via the Authentication and Authorization services of Athena® .
Will Athena® respect my request to delete or return personal data?
Upon termination of the contract with Athena® or based on the contractual conditions, Athena® will no longer keep personal data and all data will be deleted permanently. We do not have the provision to return the data to the customer and it will be deleted from the system.
How do I sign up for Athena® as a new user?
For signing up for Athena® as a new customer, you need to register for an account from our home page. On the Athena® home page, navigate to “Sign Up for a Free Account of Athena® Today” and provide us with your basic information. Once you provide your basic information, we will be able to send you an activation link to the provided email id from where you will be able to complete the sign-up process.For corporate customers, your Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) will be able to help you in onboarding your organization's users.
How can I change my login password?
On the login page of Athena® , we have a “Change Password” link that will take you to a new page where you will be able to enter your existing password and new password. On successful authentication of your username, old password, and new password (as per password policy), your password will be changed successfully. If you have forgotten your password, then we have a “Forgot Password” link on the login page. The “Forgot Password” link requires you to provide us with your Username. Enter your username to receive your password on your registered email address.
How do I reset my password if I can't access my recovery email address?
If you cannot reset your password through your recovery email address, then we request your admin to send us an email to Athena® .Admin@rule14.com requesting them to reset your password. If your account is set up for TIMO support, then we suggest you raise a TIMO ticket which will then be routed to our Athena® Admin team for action.
How do I reset my Athena® account password using my recovery email address?
For resetting your Athena® account password using the recovery email address, please click on “Forgot Password” on the login screen which will request you to enter your Username. Once you submit your username, Athena® will send a temporary password to your designated email address. Once you have the temporary password, you can then use it to change your password to something that you can remember.
How can I add new users once I sign up for a plan?
From your profile click on “Admin”. This will take you to the admin page of your Project. From the left menu, click on “Users”. This will show you the current user list of your project. On the main pane, you will find a button labeled “Add” which will let you add one user at a time and also assign a role to this user. If you would like to add bulk users then you have a link called “Bulk User Upload” which lets you download a standard template, fill in all the user details in bulk and upload it back to Athena® . In both cases, once all users are created, they will receive an activation mail in the provided email address along with the default password “Welcome@123”. For security reasons, these users will need to change their passwords after the first login.
Is Athena® an on-premise application or is it a SaaS product?
Athena® is a SaaS product where customers have no hardware or software to buy, install, maintain, or update. Access to applications is easy: You just need an Internet connection.
Which cloud environment does Athena® support?
Athena® is currently hosted on the AWS cloud platform.
Does Athena® support a mobile device?
Athena® uses a responsive user interface that adjusts smoothly to various screen sizes. Designers size elements in relative units (%) and apply media queries, so their designs can automatically adapt to the browser space to ensure content consistency across devices.
Which type of databases does Athena® support?
Athena® can support multiple databases like MySQL, MS SQL Server (multiple versions), Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB.
Does Athena® support Rest API?
Yes, Athena® can accept data via Rest API.
How does data sync work and how frequently can I sync my data?
Data on Athena® can be set to sync from every 5min to every month. Athena® sync can be configured based on the users’ needs.
