Experience Requirements:

• 5 - 7 years cloud infrastructure experience, especially infrastructure automation with tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible

• 3 - 5 years of experience writing software applications in an enterprise setting

Other Requirements:

• Experience working in an environment with a distributed microservices architecture

• Experience working with modern relational databases like MySQL or Postgres

• Excellent software engineering skills in at least one programming language like Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, .NET etc.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and architectural patterns (experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Implement technical solutions that will help Chargezoom achieve our immediate goals while maintaining optionality for future business requirements

• Automate infrastructure provisioning across our cloud footprint using Terragrunt and Terraform

• Build, maintain, and support our Kubernetes infrastructure

• Implement CI/CD pipelines to optimize developer workflows and shorten time to delivery

• Collaborate with engineering teams to build systems that allow them to rapidly deploy new services, iterate on new features, and monitor system reliability

Experience Requirements:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience

Other Requirements:

• Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs

• Excellent software engineering skills in at least one programming language like Python, PHP, Ruby, Go, .NET etc.

• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices in software development

• Strong experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases

• Proficiency in front-end fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• A self-starter attitude with a high degree of initiative and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead technical discussions

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient software, primarily using PHP

• Thoughtfully implement the next phase of our system, ensuring best practices in coding standards, security, and scalability

• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the growth of the engineering team's skills and knowledge

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure performance and stability of applications

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their applicability to our tech stack and business needs
