Experience Requirements:

• At least 4 years of partnership management experience in a life science start-up and/or industrial context (PhD research not included)

• Demonstrable track record of relevant world-class of research-oriented non-commercial and commercial deal-making, preferably at the clinical stage and in neuroscience and/or biomarkers and/or medical devices

• Strong network of relevant potential service providers, KOLs/advisors, potential collaborators, research partners

• Working knowledge of clinical study design, including in clinical protocol design, study planning experience

• Preferably, experience in working in small-medium sized medical technology companies, especially on point-of-care technologies in proof-of-concept development stages

Responsibilities:

• Set strategic R&D partnering Objectives and Key Results sand strategy towards biomarker validation, product development and commercial deals, in close collaboration with the company management

• Actively lead company’s partnering strategy execution, from relationship initiation to hands-on deal making to partnership development and maintenance

• Through partnering, actively support generation of scientific validation evidence required for R&D projects, commercial agreements, product implementation, and regulatory submissions

• Through partnering, actively support product development and validation efforts through strategic research work

• Actively lead value proposition generation for industrial and healthcare provider clients partners and clients

Education Requirements:

• BA or MA or MBA or PhD degree from a reputable university

Experience Requirements:

• At least 2 years of full-time market and/or financial research experience

• Track record in company communication and representation

• Strong track record of publications, peer-reviewed and/or industrial magazine

• Familiarity with remote working tools such as Jira, Asana

• Excellent command of the Microsoft 365 suite

Responsibilities:

• Perform industry and market research to support strategy work

• Perform ad hoc research and analysis to support operations and BD work

• Produce internal reports and notes to address knowledge gaps

• Leverage professional network for BD purposes in commercial and research domains, where possible

• Analyse and synthesise gathered information, including performing quantitative analysis

Experience Requirements:

• At least 6 years of research leadership experience in a life science start-up and/or industrial context (PhD research not included)

• Demonstrable track record of relevant world-class research, including strong scientific public record, preferably at the clinical stage and in neuroscience and/or biomarkers and/or medical devices

• Strong network of relevant potential service providers, KOLs/advisors, potential collaborators, research partners

• Strong experience in clinical study design and execution, including in clinical protocol design, study planning and management experience, statistical analysis planning

• Good analytical abilities, practical knowledge of statistical methods, preferably practical understanding of machine learning driven approaches

• Preferred specialization in neurosciences, neuro-ophthalmology, ophthalmology, biomarkers

Responsibilities:

• Set strategic research goals and strategy in biomarker validation and product development, in close collaboration with the company management, taking into account the necessary research regulations/frameworks and clinical/validation evidence requirements

• Engage and coordinate external research and/or commercial partners, as necessary, for the purpose of planning, management and execution of research and development work

• Understand and develop company value proposition for prospective research and co-development parties, which may include academia, industry, healthcare providers

• Engage industrial and clinical KOLs to help establish and grow company’s advisory board

• Project management and administration of research activities across all stakeholders including partners, CROs, trial site(s) and in-house team
