About
LeadingIndia.ai is a national initiative supporting the skilling and research of artificial intelligence and deep learning in India. Backed by the Royal Academy of Engineering and several leading universities and industry partners such as NVIDIA and AWS, this project aims to train 10,000 faculty members across 1,000 institutions to cultivate 1,000,000 skilled students yearly. The initiative focuses on closing the skill gap in AI, fostering collaborations between academia and industry, and establishing research groups that address pressing societal issues through machine learning and AI. The program targets interdisciplinary applications and strives to enhance the quality and outreach of Indian engineering education.
