How does this all work?
This is a crowdsourced distributed cluster of image and text generation workers. Users submit prompts, which are added to a queue and prioritized by Kudos (a points system). Workers pick up jobs, generate results, and return them to the horde. The requestor can check status and retrieve results.
What is a worker?
A worker is a computer with a GPU that generates images/text via Stable Diffusion or KoboldAI and connects to the horde. It receives Kudos for generated content and uptime.
What is in it for the worker?
Workers contribute for various reasons: providing processing power for personal projects, accumulating Kudos for faster generation times, or simply supporting the project.
Can workers spy on my prompts or generations?
Technically, yes, but workers don't have identifying requestor information. Treat prompts as public.
Can I turn off my worker whenever I want?
Yes, but put your worker in maintenance mode first.
Do workers support multiple models?
Yes, but model selection is manual, or you can let the next worker choose.
Can I prioritize myself and my friends on my own worker?
Yes, your requests are prioritized on your own worker regardless of Kudos. You can also prioritize specific usernames.
What is Kudos?

How do I get Kudos?
Connect a worker! You gain Kudos for fulfilled requests and uptime.
How is image Kudos consumption calculated?
Kudos cost reflects processing requirements; a neural network estimates cost based on factors like image size and steps. A "horde tax" is added.
I don't have a powerful GPU. How can I get Kudos?
Consider becoming an alchemist (if you have 2GB VRAM), rating images, fulfilling bounties, subscribing to Patreon, sharing art, or requesting Kudos from others on Discord.
Can I sell my kudos?
No! Exchanging Kudos for money is forbidden; doing so risks account termination.
Is Kudos a cryptocurrency?
No, Kudos is a centralized system; no blockchain.
Can I request NSFW images/text?
Yes, but you may have longer generation times due to a smaller pool of workers.
Do you censor generations?
Only CSAM images are censored. Workers may have their own censorship guidelines.
