Education Requirements:

• BSc / Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

• BSc/ Eng level or higher qualification or above in mechatronics engineering from a respected organisation

• BSc/MSc degree in computer science/Engineering/Robotics

• ITE/Diploma level qualification in Robotics/ Computing/ electrical/mechanical or any other related subject

• BSc/ Eng level or higher qualification or above in mechatronics engineering

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience in the field.

• Minimum 1 year experience working fulltime in a software development team

• 3+ years' experience within Senior / Lead position.

• Good Experience in robotic navigation, specifically in behavior planning, motion planning, and control for autonomous platforms.

• 3+ years' experience within technical lead roles

Other Requirements:

• Strong background in computer vision, sensor fusion, probabilistic estimation, and machine learning.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++.

• Good knowledge and experience of mapping and localisation approaches

• Experience and understanding of CAN, Ethernet and other communications technologies.

• Strong practical experience with Linux, C++, and Python

• Basic knowledge of machine learning and approaches, including deep learning

• Strong empathy and the capacity to react calmly and efficiently, even when others are stressed

• Proven record of delivering projects

• Strong knowledge of performing test-driven development and deployment.

• 1+ years proven professional hands-on experience.

• Good understanding of Linux/Windows OS

• Excellent knowledge of CAN, Ethernet and other communications technologies

• Strong experience of controller programming languages: structured or ladder logic

• Experience of programming languages C, C++

• 2-3 years’ experience in procurement, office administration, operation coordination or a similar role or experience

• Relevant certifications, Degree or Diploma in Operations Management or Office administration or related fields

• Experience in vendor management and familiarity with INCOTERMs and shipping procedures

Responsibilities:

• Fuse data from various sensors such as lidar, radar, cameras, GPS and IMUs to enable robust mapping and localization capabilities.

• Mapping System Optimization: Improve the efficiency, accuracy, and robustness of mapping systems through algorithmic optimizations, data processing techniques, and sensor calibration.

• Localisation System Development: Implement algorithms and techniques to enable accurate localization of objects or vehicles in real-time scenarios, considering factors like occlusions, dynamic environments, and sensor noise.

• Awareness and knowledge of sensors, communication technologies, or control devices for various automation solutions

• Design, develop, or implement control circuits or algorithms for electromechanical or pneumatic devices or systems
