It organizes events like the LPCV Challenge and the UAV Chase Challenge, which aim to push the boundaries of computer vision by improving models for edge devices under stringent resource constraints. The LPCV Challenge focuses on enhancing semantic segmentation with a disaster-scene dataset, while the UAV Chase Challenge involves autonomous drones tracking ground robots. Moreover, LPCV facilitates workshops to advance research in efficient deep learning algorithms, addressing essential metrics such as energy efficiency, model size, and computational requirements.
