How long does the setup take?
The initial setup will take you approximately 5 minutes or less, you’ll only need to install Segments from the Shopify App store and answer a few short questions so we can understand your needs and how we can help. After setting up, you may need to wait a few hours for all the data to be loaded into our platform.
What is the difference between Shopify analytics and Segments?
Shopify analytics offers general store insights, but Segments takes it a step further. Segments dives deep into your data, providing precise customer segmentation, product journey analysis, and cross-channel marketing capabilities. While Shopify analytics is essential, Segments empowers you with advanced tools for targeted marketing and customer understanding.
How frequently is my data updated?
After the initial data onboarding, we update your data on a daily basis so you can target the right customers for your marketing campaigns every time. The data typically updates after midnight in your local time zone.
Can I connect multiple data sources?
You can connect Segments with your favorite email service provider, SMS, and digital ads platforms such as Facebook, Google, Tik Tok, etc. as well as sync your segments back to Shopify as customer tags. We are constantly working to add new integrations to our platform. Looking for an integration we don’t have yet? Just ping us on chat or add a feature request to our public roadmap.
What about data security?
The information processed by Tresl is received directly from our service provider, Shopify, and it’s stored in the United States with cloud service providers that are GDPR compliant, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
