Education Requirements:

  • BS, Masters or PH.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Experience Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in HW design from architecture to implementation

  • Released several complex, multi-layer PCB designs into high volume production

  • Experience utilizing commercial SI/PI software tools

Other Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of HW components, their interfaces and SW controls

  • Good understanding of high speed designs (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCIE etc)

  • Technical leadership in data acquisition subsystems

  • Ability to technically lead a small team of HW engineers is a plus

  • Experience in LiDAR design or automotive product development is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Break down product requirements into an architecture and EE PCB designs

  • Review designs in terms of function and layout placement

  • Optimize architecture to reduce HW and SW complexity

  • Direct ownership of PCBs and sub-systems of a LiDAR

  • Work closely with Electrical Engineers and cross-functional teams

Education Requirements:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and interfacing with customers
