Education Requirements:

• A current Washington state teaching certificate with a special education endorsement

Other Requirements:

• Work scheduled hours on a consistent basis

• Criminal background clearance

• Washington state driver’s license and proof of insurance

• CPR/First Aid card

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain compliant individual education plans

• Develop, implement, and adjust appropriate programming

• Provide interventions

• Coordinate with general education teachers

• Design and implement intervention

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology

• ASHA CCCs or equivalent, CFY welcome

• Current Washington ESA certification

Experience Requirements:

• Experience with interventions of the communication needs of a variety of students and varying disabilities

Other Requirements:

• Criminal background clearance

• Maintain a current ESA Certified Washington State Teacher’s Certificate

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate communication problems

• Document evaluation results

• Identify needs, prepare treatment plans

• Provide speech/language therapy

• Provide informational and consultative services
